About Annette

Hi, I'm glad that you stopped here today, even for a
brief moment. My journey to become a Spiritual
Director was one of self discovery. That discovery
had many twists and turns that were unexpected,
with surprises which helped me to grow in a deeper
level of trust and understanding of God's Love.

Once upon a time, I enjoyed my part time job
teaching Art, and I had a sewing business with a five
year plan...God had other plans for me. Following
the guidance of my own Spiritual Director, I applied
to attend Aquinas Institute of Theology in St Louis.
I was accepted, attended, and eventually graduated
with a Graduate Certificate in Spiritual Direction.

I no longer teach Art, and I can't remember the last
time I spent time at my sewing machine. Even
though I enjoyed those things very much, the
ministry of Spiritual Direction has fulfilled something
deeper within me that I never knew existed. Since
my Graduation from Aquinas, I have served as a
Spiritual Director for Individuals, Groups, and in
Retreat settings. In just the past few years, I have
led Retreats, given Talks, and met with many people
for Spiritual Direction. God has guided me and
stretched me beyond what I could have ever imagined.

Currently I have an office at Maria Center in South
St. Louis that is near the School Sisters of Notre Dame
Motherhouse. I meet with people for Individual
Spiritual Direction, Group Spiritual Direction, and Peer
Supervision there. It is a Sacred Space in which I
pray, talk with people, and write. I enjoy learning
more about God through what people share with me.
God continues to surprise me in unexpected ways and
stretch me beyond what I think I can do.
